On duty

Our two children seem to feel the need to put their teddies on sentry duty in the house when they leave for school in the morning. Sometimes it is peeking through the bannisters like this, other times they are just sat on the stairs. It can be a bit unnerving when you walk through the door!

This was the view that would have greeted a visitor today - they still felt the need to put them on duty even though I'm currently at home from work poorly.
