The Bird People of Rivelin

We decide on a walk today where we travelled by bus to the hillside above our valley, walked along the top then dropped down to the valley and then followed it home. The first hour of the walk was in steady snowfall - not forecast, but not unpleasant to walk in, then we got some clear skies. It was a bit disappointing on the wildlife front, but as we made our way down to the valley, we heard the sound of engines, then several of these powered paragliders appeared. I was very envious because although it would have been very cold up there, the views over the peaks must have been amazing.
