Very physical morning today. Normally I'm a huge fan of machine tools (except when they send me to the minor injuries unit), but sometimes doing it manually is the only way. Cue 2 hours kneeling on top of a sheet of ply clamped on top of a workbench and using a handsaw. Glad I'm ot bowling tonight...

Tonight's blip is in honour of English Rob who came round with his plumbing knowledge to help us drain the ch syastem so we could replace the thermo valve. Turns out we just had to take this off, give it a shake and replace it. No mess, no fuss. And now we have heat in the bathroom again - and not before time!
