A part of our village down below

We have two parts to our village. The slightly newer part up on top (where we live) and the much older and more rustic part of just half a dozen or so houses down below. I took this picture below just after a big thunderstorm had passed through, on the way to see some friends. I'd just been for a 30k spin on the bike and arrived home just two minutes before the heavens opened. Fortuitous.
