A Miserable, Hot, Humid Day with lots of Exercise!

First thing this morning, before I was even out of bed, the phone went off with weather alerts.  We were supposed to be getting a strong front, late this afternoon with strong winds, lightning, heavy rain, and possible tornadoes.
Every where's you could see people out walking, riding bikes, walking dogs, putting up more decorations, coming and going out the main gate....
After speaking to several people it became apparent that everyone was trying to get as much done, as much exercise completed, dogs walked and exercised, before the front came through.
Well, the girls and I were out there, twice, logging about 4 miles of walking in.  I also got on my bike and rode a little over 10 miles around OTOW.  The bike ride was my way of getting around quickly, able to stop and get photos of more decorations all over.   It still amazes me how much the families get into the spirit of the season.
The GolfCart Parade was last weekend.  Many of the carts are still decked out with their lights, the Garland, the Balloons (inspite of the wind).  It is sooooo much fun to see everyone and thing, come and go. Hustling! Scurrying! Singing carols, humming tunes, whistlers........
The storm came in, the wind blew hard, lightning crash with thunder, rain drummed up against the windows and porch rooves.   It was a fun way to end a great day.

I Really Love This Time of The Year!!!!
