Ave Maria

There was rather threadbare and funereal atmosphere in the town centre today. I'd heard reports of high street emporia Comet and Jessops tumbling into administration and shrugged. But when news broke that the same fate had befallen HMV, I actually felt a pang. I spend money in HMV, and on a regular basis too. It wasn't a bad place to while away 15 minutes of an idle lunch hour. I even blipped the local branch once.
When I passed the place today (it's directly behind the tree) I found this bemulletted chappy giving a mournful rendition of Ave Maria on his trumpet, as if lamenting the imminent death of high street retail.....
