The Adventures of the Elves

After a good night of rest, with quite a lot of noisy snoring, the elves were ready to play. They discovered Arthur and immediately joined him on the window sill for his daily watch. He is very territorial and is wary, since the local Siamese cat has come in through his cat flap and tried to eat his food. Arthur can run very fast for an ageing cat on Metacam for arthritis, and he is fifteen years old.
I was planning an adventure for the elves in the woodland, but it is cold and frosty. There is always plenty to do at home and I am enjoying re studying French on Duolingo. My Samsung Tablet also has a daily jigsaw that is a lovely pastime.
Anyway, the elves, had ideas of their own.
They decided to sit in the flowerpots to get a better view and then explore a gold fir cone. They loved sitting in the Christmas tree.
I am going to have to watch these guys closely. Deanna you were right.
