Good news last night as a friend i had sadly lost touch with said they would come and visit over the Christmas holidays... fingers crossed it will happen. She is my friends wife, i spent so much time with them both for many years but when he died, what i fears would happen did and it was like losing two friends rather than one.

The postman has been and another present has arrived for my daughter so some more wrapping to be done today. I have terrible form for doing the wrapping on Christmas Eve, I am working hard to not leave everything until the last minute this year.

I may visit the club with grub for lunch if i get my bits and bobs done early enough.
