Welcome back

I have been a little remiss about feeling the birds this autumn ( sorry Mr Smiley) But when I finally got round to it, was amazed how quickly our feathered friends were back, We counted 11species of garden birds within a couple of hours including a pair of nuthatches, ,once a rare sight in the city suburbs. Now they’re eating us out of house and home, especially th3 sparrows who arrive mob-handed, but they are a source of joy especially to Sarah confined as she is to the care of her 96 year-old Dad whose dementia grows worse by the day.
