Doing well

The Letterbox flowers which my lovely #1 granddaughter sent me a week ago.  They're having a new lease of life since I changed their water, fed them, cut 1/2cm off their stems, wrapped the stems in a ring of sellotape and spoke to them nicely.  They are brightening up my day which needed a bit of a boost as the weather is dire, another friend has died, quite unexpectedly.  I met his daughter in the supermarket, she is reeling from the shock.  It was good to give her a hug and talk about her lovely Dad though,  and K's Mum is going to hospital tomorrow for a big and serious op.  We've got everything crossed.
