Slim PIckin's

I got up at 3:50 to meet Wendy at 4:30 am to make one last drive for the winter to the Conowingo Dam to shoot the Bald Eagles.  Perhaps we should have done a little more homework because we were there with only about 12-15 other photographers and there were no eagles.  After standing in the extreme cold for what seemed like forever, we decided to call it a day and to go to the Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore on the way home. Just as we were putting the cameras into the back of the car, an eagle appeared and flew overhead.  Fortunately, my camera was still handy and I was able to get a few shots.  This was the only one that was decent and it is a little sharper in LARGE.

I have loaded an extra of the Rawlings Conservatory from the outside.  How nice of Wendy to wear a red jacket!
