Vicky and I had an evening out without the boys today, leaving them with our babysitter for a few hours. It was enjoyable and was our way of celebrating Christmas with each other - we are trying to avoid the whole consumerist tradition of spending on presents ofr everyone and anyone. For the last few years we have only really bought for the boys! This year we have even cut the amount of cards sent out - the cost and waste isn't setting a good example for our boys!

On another high, after six years of instructing it has finally happened...the illusive "zero fault pass!" This has certainly put me on route to ending 2019 on a high note!
