Move over Canon EOS Rebel.

There's a new kid in town, and it comes with built in 'dramatic' mode.

This photo was taken with my new Australia proof Olympus TG-1. Water proof to 12 meters, drop proof from 2 meters, freeze proof to -10 degrees.

But is it Peter proof?

Over the next few days I'll be putting it through its paces. I'll take photos in dramatic mode worthy of their own theme tune, and be pestering Tabs in 'Cat Mode' (no, really).

I'll be taking super macro photos from 10mm away and tomorrow I'll be taking a deep breath, crossing my fingers and dunking it in a pint of water....
