Exeter lights

An eventful day, it started fairly normally with a quick visit to the allotment while my husband took the car down the road.  He returned and later that morning we set off heading to Exmouth station as we were meeting friends in Exeter for lunch.  A little way into the journey my husband was struggling with the gears and about half way there the gears refused to engage and we stopped on the main road just before traffic lights.  Not surprisingly we missed the train and the lunch but after the recovery vehicle took the car to a repair garage we made it into Exeter for the showing of Bah Humbug set in St Nicholas Priory.  Very atmospheric and just as entertaining as it was last year.  In fact a bit more scary given the current political situation.

We finished the evening by walking down the High Street admiring the lights before a coffee and cake in a nearby cafe.  So glad we managed to make the event.
