Where The Sun Don't Shine

We had a dusting of snow two days ago and it has stayed very cold since(thanks Canada).  Today's cloudless skies and dry air have encouraged the snow to evaporate without ever melting.  But the places that remained in the shade got to keep their snow.
The line in the picture above is the shadow line of our side fence.
