A Fur Coat? In This Climate?

You might think a moth like this would be more suited to cooler climes, given its fur covering. This one was clinging to the outside of the house this morning.

It's so furry! I like its 'horns' too and its orangey colour. I did try to identify it but as there are over thirty thousand types of moths known in Australia it's a bit like finding a needle in a haystack! I think it's part of the group of Tussock Moths. If there are any moth experts out there please feel free to correct me.

A day of trying to complete a book to go off to the printers - the last few tasks seem to take forever! I think though I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
