today i've made some headway with the Christmas cooking.
a slightly alcoholic chestnut, apple, & chicken casserole for Boxing Day lunch.
some good stock for the Christmas gravy.
& Delia's red cabbage recipe. 

tomorrow, i'll make some very tasty sausage rolls.
