With daylight in the minus
the onus is on us
to make the most of
what’s on offer. We
add up the pros and cons,
count our blessings: thus
no wind, rain, ice is
a bonus, plus we’re free
from fear and illness.
(Although the hills do appear
to be closing in on us).
