That was lucky!

About 6 months ago I found that one of the batteries in my newish Maglite torch was stuck.  With much trouble I managed to remove it and clean the deposit from the inside of the torch, the result of a leak from a battery.

Since this torch was a replacement provided by Maglite when a previous one failed (not battery-related) I decided to store it with the batteries out.  And today I found one of the batteries leaking.  Phew!

I would have been very sad to have lost a torch to another leakage . . .
