Carol Service

After a good lay in we did some shopping for Mrs BB to make some food things for people staying or calling in next week.

Mrs BB and I attended the Christmas Carol service at St Michaels & All Angels in Lower Machen. There's been a church on the site since Celtic times (6th century) with the present church dating from 1102. Due to it's fine acoustics it hosts The Lower Machen Music Festival every summer.

The blipfoto shows the organist who was excellent as was the mulled wine after the service!  Thanks to the kind, unknown woman who gave me a cough sweet for my hacking cough which is tiring me out!
