Expletives!

The air was ever so slightly blue whilst trying to fit a new shower cartridge yesterday. The 'snapped' O ring wouldn't budge as it was barely accessible and the rubber had gone hard.
I tried fitting it without replacing the O ring but water spewed everywhere.
It's all done now, thank heavens.
