Big Winter Wander

I signed up for the WWF Big Winter Wander on Boxing Day. In the pack was this lovely postcard. It encourages you to use an app called Seek to identify and log local wildlife. The postcard is also impregnated with seeds so you can plant it and grow wildflowers - clever!

It was the usual Sunday morning of ringing followed by UNO in Costa. Then we girded our loins to brave M&S to collect our Christmas food order and also pick up some last minute goodies. It was actually no ordeal at all as it was very quiet. No idea whether that means everyone else had already shopped or is yet to shop - whichever it is, it was very welcome.

Then it was a lazy rest of the day as Leo and now Ian are full of cold. Fingers crossed that it doesn’t hang around long. Leo seemed a bit brighter today. He couldn’t even be bothered to eat yesterday which was a sure sign something was up. Let’s hope everyone gets their appetites back now we have lots of lovely food in the house.
