Perpetual Motion

Downtown on a Sunday afternoon between storms. This woman has the most amazing muscular arms. There she was spinning around in this giant hoop, accompanied by a guy playing a bright red stand up bass. Street performers are definitely getting more interesting.

The irresistible Extra is a Ruby Crowned Kinglet, a tiny bird neither of us has ever seen before. Be sure and note the sweet little red feather on the top of his head. 

What both my subjects have in common is the fact that they were never still. The hoop lady rolled and rolled, and the kinglet flitted and hopped: flit, flit, roll, hop, flit and roll and hop again. It's a miracle I got a clear image of either one.
