Special Birthday lunch.

My wife’s Special Birthday celebrations continued today - we’d a lovely lunch with our nearest and dearest at the Sheraton, Edinburgh. The photo is of my wife, our older son and his fiancé, our younger son, and me. The young ones couldn’t manage out on her big day on 19 December as they were at work; we did manage a nice afternoon tea together though, (see blipfoto). The restaurant was busy with family groups enjoying time together before Christmas, it was a nice experience.

This evening we watched “Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. Well made.

And as others were heading to bed we went to the supermarket; shelves were fully stocked and it meant we didn’t get caught up in the mad period just before Christmas. We didn’t even have to queue.
