Men at work

The River Dee was high today at Chester with no sign of the weir which is usually so prominent, there were lots of canoeists who were making the most of being able to paddle right up to the bridge, under it and beyond

There was a bit of a blockage under one of the arches with washed up logs and other debris, so the guys in today's blip were removing them. Even the walkway's were under water which I've not seen before

It's been sunny and quite mild and a really pleasant day. Mike and I spent some time together today which has been really nice, he's on a 4 day week now due to the recession. Hey ho, no drama, there's lots of us being affected by this.
