Gooseneck Loosestrife....

We have a patch of this rather unusual plant in our garden. Commonly known as Gooseneck Loosestrife, its botanical name is Lysimachia clethroides. I rather like it’s shape and tiny dainty individual flowers. Tonight being Christmas Eve I will be going to church at 11.pm with Gwen, a good friend. We started this little tradition some years ago. Our Church of the Nativity here in Blenheim is an elegant building and looks really special on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to all my Blipfoto friends and Facebook friends.... Arohanui.
