Back in Time

Whenever I'm at the Great Hall at Union Station, I always wonder how this place might have looked like back then.
Was it more crowded? How were the people dressed? Was it really noisy or was it quiet?
So many things I want to know and experience, but sadly I'll only be able to see and experience through pictures.
