Christmas Dog!

This is Molly the Collie, previously known (before we knew her name) as 'Christmas Dog'.  She arrived this afternoon and has started to settle down well, bless her.  You will probably be able to see the bandage on her hip.  She was born with a congenital hip malformation - virtually no hip joint at all apparently - and following her operation last Thursday she now has a bionic hip!  Anyway, we are giving her a break from being at the Dogs Trust and fostering her over the Christmas period which is lovely for both her and for us!

She has to wear one of the horrid collars when we are not around (such as tonight when we go to Midnight Mass) but she will be fine.  She is obviously quite a brave dog and has a sweet nature and is about one year old.  She was handed in to the Dogs Trust as her previous owners probably couldn't afford to have her hip seen to.

I was going to blip the local hunt which came past this morning and the hounds which you can see in extras but Molly has now jumped the queue to become my main blip!

I hope you all have a very happy Christmas Day tomorrow.
