Satisfying

We have taken it steady - Bailey particularly so - this Christmas Eve. I have finished my first book of the holidays - a very satisfying read and mainly inhabited the sofa. Bailey has slept, in front of and away from the fire before rousing himself this evening when everyone else had settled. We've watched the final part of A Christmas Carol which was the most satisfactory but a bit too far removed from the text to be useful for our GCSE students.
