Ellon

Day off work today as I had to make a short trip to Ellon today for a funeral.

My uncle passed away last week after a short illness. So we did what needed to be done and gave him the best send off possible. Just after I took this picture I realised I'd missed a call from my cousin. Turns out my services were needed to help with pall bearer duties.

Now I've helped carry coffins before. But deep down I was kind of hoping someone else had agreed to help, as all I could imagine on the drive out was being asked to help and making an arse of things and falling victim to the snow and or ice. Thankfully everything went fine.
