White flowers in the garden early in the morning

A beautifully mild day filled with glorious sunshine. People reunited and new friends introduced. A peaceful morning with thoughts of the true meaning of Christmas Day. Food and wine consumed and stupidly successful and often-times hilarious games played. Two pet dogs joining in the fun without even knowing exactly why. Then hugs of gratitude, of love, and of fond farewells, and a drive home through newly frosted countryside trying hard to believe next year will be just as wonderful and everyone will laugh and feel just as happy. And hoping that we all enjoy the same loving experience at the same time next year, all being well.
