Good call from EcoDad in recommending the Anstruther Fish Museum. It looks tiny from the outside but the interior is an enormous rambling corridorfest of all kinds of fish- and sea-related stuff, including entire full-sized boats, models and bits and more interesting reference printouts than is common these days.

On the way we made the exciting discovery that Amos suffers from travel sickness, announced by an "I'm hot" followed within a second by a warm splash from the seat behind me. Fortunately we were still carrying several packets of fresh babywipes with us everywhere; the infiltrated car seats and carpet were wiped clean enough quickly enough to make them safe and the child seat cover was wrapped in a bag in the boot until it could be rinsed in the evening.
