Newport Rising

A photograph of The Old Westgate Hotel, Commercial Street, Newport City Centre, (South Wales, UK) which was the scene of the Chartist Rising (Riots as some know it as) and graffiti with the words 'Newport Rising'.  Bullet holes in the entrance still survive from the Newport Rising 4th Nov 1839.
