Unexpected

Got no sleep last night, unable to swallow. An unexpected appointment at the health centre this morning confirmed a throat infection and a 10-day course of antibiotics.

On the train back to Edinburgh at lunchtime, and the conductor announced an unexpected cancellation from Perth onwards.

An unexpected detour to Stirling, and a lift home from there from Holly’s parents, saw us home at a reasonable time considering.

Early bed tonight.
