A lovely day down in the centre.The main theatre, national library and fine arts museum are all within a hundred metres of each other. We had breakfast at Café Colombo and then a long walk round the lively Sarra area.  Boy, did we need the cold beer in Café do Bom, later, accompanied by Belem ice cream from Cairu . . . flavour cupuacu!  Yum! We spent a month in Belem, at the mouth of the Amazon, once and this was our favourite local brand and flavour!
