#2S and a reindeer.

Went to town with #2S to exchange some Christmas money for dirhams in time for his return to Abu Dhabi just after new year. He's been out there since August, setting up and teaching in a new music department in a secondary school there. It was quite a culture shock for him at first, but after a bout of homesickness (he has never lived outside Liverpool) he settled in and seems happy there. Walking through town he was shocked by the constant sirens, the rudeness of strangers and the dirtiness of the streets, things he no longer regards  as normal. Me too.
