Whitley Bay Ice Rink

built c1954 .I popped across to have a chat with these locals who went on to become professional ice skaters. I didn't ;(

I did have a go in  Central Park and again on my return home.
As I fell and ended up in A&E I gave it up as a bad job.
They went all over the World performing.Interesting to hear they never wore helmets etc.Unlike now.
One lady is now a Judge and told me to look out for a brilliant pair of French Ice skaters.I've forgotten their names ;(
