An Old Airman's Life

Waiting on the westbound TRE

This is the last day this week that I will have to go into the office. As any normal Wednesday, I took the TRE commuter train to Victory Station. There I jump the Orange Line light rail. It was quite chilly this morning. Everyone seemed to stay bundled in their coats except for this guy. While we all waited to go into downtown Dallas, he waited to go the direction that we just came from. I noticed that someone had tried to smash the window on the shelter. The lights reflecting through the cracks and the man pacing out in the wind made for quite a nice blip.

Tomorrow, we are off to New Orleans. Probably half way there tomorrow and the rest of the way on Friday. I have to work a half day from home as does the wife of the couple we are driving with. Going to stay at a bed and breakfast tomorrow night. Then on Friday, we plan on stopping a former hospital for leprosy patients. We will also be dropping off an old rocking chair at one of the surviving plantations. Hope to have a several great blips in the coming days.
