finally

one of my 2 - amaryllis flowers which i - planted about 7 weeks ago - it’s been a very long - and tedious process - watching them grow from - their bulb in dirt - to a seemingly endless - green stalk which got - so tall it began to - become worrisome it wouldn’t - be able to hold - the blooms once they - decided to open - it’s been a stressful process

then you eventually get - a bud and think - okay, progress, now it’s going - to happen, only to be fooled - it takes forever for that - bud to get the gumption - to yawn awake

but as it does - as you can see - it’s all glory in its - full red overcoat and in - turn that means it can now be...
