Truly Blippin' Marvelous

By JohnEdward

Sunday default

On a reading binge: Agnotology: the making & unmaking of ignorance, a collection of writings from the past ten years edited by Robert N. Proctor and Londa Schiebinger ;  I'm dipping in to The Oxford Book of Essays including Leigh Hunt's  On Getting Up on Cold Mornings, rather apropos as the Fahrenheit temperatures were in the single digits here this morning ; the book group will meet to discuss On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous an epistolary novel by Ocean Vuong ; for light reading I just finished John LeCarré's Agent Running in the Field  and am about to start An Irish Country Family by Patrick Taylor, part of a series apparently.

Sunday NFL games on TV burbling away in the background . . . I still don't really understand the game and it's not as pretty to watch as rugby or The Beautiful Game . . .
