Resistance residence

I've just finishing reading an excellent novel called All That I Am by Anna Funder. It's based on the true story of those Germans who resisted the rise of Hitler before the Second World War, and who had to flee their homeland in a bid to stay alive to continue the fight.
Many ended up in London - including some prominent figures who lived here, on the top floor, on Great Ormond Street.
It's a tragic story, very moving, imbued with courage and self-sacrifice. Well worth the read.
