Mad Cat Lady

Helen has arrived for a few days, ostensibly to celebrate New Year with us. We spent the afternoon catching up then opened a bottle of Prosecco. D is sound checking at the brewery for tomorrow night so I was in charge of dinner. We’ve eaten and tidied up and D still isn’t back.
Poppy has been Into town with her friend and is now staying at hers overnight. It’s a significant day for us tomorrow, not least because of the arrival of THE MOTHER IN LAW!!
