Be Careful Out There

You'll be a braver Blipper than me to brave Silvester* on the street in Germany.  I popped out for about thirty minutes this evening, enough time for someone to throw a firework at me - out of a car.

It's fine, I wasn't hit.  It landed in front of me and went off.  Glad I don't have a dog.

This is one of those nights when lots of people here lose their minds and any sense of responsibility.  They also become Müllblind (a new word coined by me, it means blind to garbage); people think nothing of setting off fireworks everywhere and leaving packaging lying around. Similarly just chucking away anything is fine tonight (and tomorrow).

You may have guessed that I'm not a fan.  And I'm most definitely not.
No problem with people celebrating.  I've just had enough of people all vying to be my AdT...
