A Portobello Groyne

With is Lordship otherwise engaged, I was free to wander at will this morning without being constantly brought to heel for spending too long over blipping.

I took the bus to Portobello and walked along the shore to Mussleburgh via Joppa.
The tide was again so far out, that at Musselburgh, I was able to walk on the sand to the mouth of the harbour.

It was a bitterly cold grey day and there were few people dallying on the beach, save the omnipresent dog walkers , but even they were striding out with the sticks being thrown at a exaggerated speed.

Despite having all the time in the world and with over 60 photos to chose from, this is the best in the bunch. A bit disappointing on the blip front, but nevertheless an enjoyable bracing constitutional.

And the sun appeared as I got home. Too bad!
