Waypoint Park

The old Georgia Pacific Plant is long gone but with millions of dollars in clean up and some really creative ideas, it has been turned into a city park. There are still some old buildings left standing showing signs of age, but they actually add some personality and history to the old chemical industrial site. Today the weather has been very windy and rainy and there is one old building with a wall exhaust fan that is no longer connected to the motor with a V-belt, so it was definitely getting a work out and had come back to life for a while.
