Carshalton: Domestic Duck Dreams

My mother and I went to Carshalton in the early afternoon; we saw no egrets or grebes, but spotted this adorable feral domestic duck (or cross perhaps) which was quite call duck-/ bantam-like (smaller than the wild mallards, with stubbier proportions) and has steely plumage where wild birds are iridescent... He was adorable, and rekindled a call duck dream, so maybe that'll be a resolution of sorts.
