Snow Religion

Today I was taking it steady through the back roads from Bardney through to Woodhall Spa on my deliveries and the journey took me through Bucknall. It is claimed that Lady Godiva was born here, largely based on her brother Thorold, Sheriff of Lincolnshire, who was known as "Thorold of Bucknall".

I couldn't resist getting a picture of St. Margaret's Church dusted in snow with the blue sky and cirrocumulus clouds above. The church is built of greenstone in the early English style, St Margaret's is partly 13th century with traces of Norman and the external features mainly Victorian and is grade 2 listed.
