Valley of the Pigs...

Grisedale, below St. Sunday Crag with Nethermost Pike and the shoulder of Helvellyn in the distance. The path up to Lanty's Tarn was a sheet of ice, frozen drainage off the fell, treacherous and unforgiving should you take the assuredness of your Vibram soles for granted! (I know).

Not great photo weather, it stayed dull and windy right up to the point that I reached Ullswater again and there was a broad smear of blue across the northern sky - a patch that would have improved this pic no end. Such is life.
