Australian hornet, Mason wasp also known as mud wasp. If I have identified it correctly largest wasp in Australia, Abispa ephippium a mud wasp that build nests in sheltered spots then collect caterpillars which are put in cells then lays eggs on top of them. Eggs hatch into larvae and eat the caterpillars, turn into pupa and the the process continues
