Goldfinch

Our walk yesterday down in the Forest of Dean ended up being quite bleak with murky fog closing in on all sides and this morning round here didn't look much better. 'A day for the accounts!' I thought and was just staring out of the window when I noticed a goldfinch sitting on the feeder not being very active. Never one to miss an opportunity I grabbed the camera and although it was still able to fly, eat and drink I don't give it much hope sadly.
